The Art in SILENCE

March 17, 2015 by Deborah Lytton

In SILENCE, one of my characters, Hayden’s grandfather, is a gifted artist who speaks through his artistic creations. He makes sculptures out of bronze using a method called lost wax casting, a traditional art dating back thousands of years. Having no experience with sculptures, I reached out to Rosalind Cook for help. Rosalind’s bronze sculptures can be found all over the world. Her work will literally take your breath away. You can see her art in CAPTURING THE SPIRIT IN BRONZE. The book shares the story of each of Rosalind’s sculptures as well as being an inspiration to readers to follow your dreams and share your gifts.
